Lagos Politician Duped By Tiwa Savage Impostor

The rate at which people impersonate celebrities in Nigeria is increasing rapidly and doesn’t look like it’s going to stop soon. The most recent victim is the Mavin records first lady — Tiwa Savage. An unknown lady who claimed to be Tiwa Savage successfully duped a Lagos politician. The Tiwa impostor duped Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Lagos West, Segun Adewale aka Aeroland. According to Daily Independent, the fake Tiwa Savage collected N500,000 from the politician as part payment to perform at his political declaration party. When the fake Tiwa failed to show up for the event, the politician now realised that he has been duped. Aeroland have been begging the financial institution through which the money was paid in to help him get the remaining amount in the account. The impostor has already withdrawn some cash from the account and she’s on the run.
